David is an exceptional professional photographer. When I arrived at his studio, we took some time to get to know each other and relax. His guidance during the photoshoot was invaluable and showcased his extensive experience in the field. I am really happy with the outcome. Thank you David!

I had my first-ever professional portrait photoshoot with David and it was an excellent experience ! I did not know what to expect but from the first moment we met, David was very welcoming and kind which immediately put me at ease. The session itself was around two hours but it was a lot of fun while also fascinating to see the work and effort that he puts into his photography. The post-shoot communication was also extremely smooth and straightforward. Overall, it was a lovely introduction to these sort of photoshoots and while David was friendly and relaxed throughout, he was above-all very professional. Highly recommend !

The price for a 1-hour studio headshot photoshoot is 180 euros (excl. VAT).

Frequently Asked Questions

Good preparation guarantees a successful and professional headshot. Here are the key elements to consider:

1. Choose the right outfit
– Choose sober, well-fitting clothes that are appropriate for your sector of activity.
– Choose neutral or classic colours (navy blue, grey, beige, white) and avoid patterns that are too bold.
– Avoid crumpled fabrics and overly imposing accessories that could distract attention.
2. Look after your appearance
– For men: a fresh shave or a well-trimmed beard. Bring a mattifying powder if you tend to shine in the spotlight.
– For women: natural make-up that enhances the complexion without being too heavy. Choose a matte finish to avoid highlights.
– Make sure your hair is well styled and bring a brush for touch-ups on the spot.
3. Take care of the final details
– Get a good night’s sleep for a fresh, rested complexion.
– Moisturise and avoid anything that could affect your skin.
– Bring several outfits with you if you want to vary your style during the session.

With these preparations, you’ll be comfortable and ready to get a natural, professional headshot.

The session usually lasts around 1 hour. This is an ideal duration for obtaining several varied portraits, while leaving enough time for you to feel at ease in front of the lens.
Here’s how it works:
When you arrive at the studio, I welcome you and discuss the image you want to project (professional, accessible, dynamic, etc.). I’ll adjust the lighting and background to suit your chosen style. I also take the opportunity to give you a few tips on posture and expressions.
We then start the photo session.
A computer is connected to the camera, so we can see each photo live. This allows me to adjust everything to meet my client’s expectations as closely as possible.
We experiment with different poses, attitudes and 2-3 different outfits.

Once my client is satisfied that he has a certain number of photos that he likes, the photoshoot ends.

My photography studio is located in Brussels, more precisely in Uccle.
The address is: rue des Cottages 40.
My studio is easily accessible by public transport (Trams 4, 7, 10, 18 and 92 as well as buses 37 and 48).
You can also come by car, and easily park your car in the street (free parking with blue zone disc).

When you return home, I’ll send you a link to a private online gallery. It contains all the photos taken during our photo shoot.
You can then choose your 3 favourite photos, which will then be subtly retouched.
The high-definition files are delivered within 48 hours of my receiving your choice.

The price for a professional studio portrait session is 180 euros (excluding VAT).
This includes the one-hour session, the creation of a gallery for you to choose your photos, post-production/editing of your 3 favourite portraits, and delivery of your high-definition headshots.

Choosing a right headshot depends on your sector of activity, your position and the image you want to project. Here are a few guidelines to help you decide:

1. Corporate and Business
If you work in a formal sector such as finance, law or consultancy, opt for a classic, professional headshot. A neutral background ( charcoal, light grey or white), formal attire (suit, shirt, blazer) and soft lighting guarantee a serious and credible image.

2. Creative and independent
Artists, designers and entrepreneurs can afford a more relaxed and authentic style. A textured or outdoor background, less strict framing and a natural expression will better reflect their personality and approach.

3. Tech and start-ups
In the tech and start-up sector, a modern, dynamic headshot works well. Soft colours and a more relaxed pose send an accessible and innovative message.

4. Coaches and trainers
If you work in personal development or training, your photo should inspire confidence and kindness. Soft lighting, a warm smile and a bright frame are essential.
