The editorial portrait is used to illustrate a text describing a person in his or her environment. The magazine industry is a long-standing client of portrait photographers. Increasingly, websites, start-ups, freelancers and new media are commissioning original photographs for online publication. Regardless of the medium and its scope, there is a need for genuine portraits that make an impression on readers.

I use my contemplative eye, combined with my experience as a photographer, to create sensible and accurate images of my models.
I also shoot digitally
Depending on my clients’ requests, I photograph either in black and white or in colour. For monochrome commissions, I use exclusively film equipment. For colour sessions, I work mainly with digital equipment.
The process is fast and reliable
I always provide my clients with hd digital files. After shooting, the films are developed and edited, then scanned in high definition before being transmitted via ftp, Dropbox or Wetransfer. If the shoot is digital, the files are calibrated and retouched before being sent to the client.

My rates are directly linked to the time spent shooting and retouching the photos, as well as to the media that will publish them. The position and size of the photo published, the magazine’s circulation or the website’s audience are elements to be taken into account.
